Golden and Eagle Rock
Golden and Eagle Rock are both in a rural part of Table Rock Lake. They are on the West side of Table Rock Lake and since both are unincorporated cities, they are considered lake communities. Both are located between Branson and Eureka Springs, AR. About 50 miles from Branson and about 15 miles North of Eureka Springs.
The Eagle Rock community consists mostly of residential properties scattered along bluffs and shores near the Highway 86 Bridge that crosses Table Rock Lake on the West side. It is the closest part of the lake coming from cities to the West, like Rogers, Fayetteville, Joplin, Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Dallas, Wichita and many more. Eagle Rock is about 5 miles North of the Arkansas State Line and the Historical Town of Eureka Springs, Arkansas is only 15 miles with Victorian Architecture, activities, restaurants, shopping and The Great Passion Play.
The Golden community looks more like cattle land and hay pastures with trees mixed in. The lake itself is away from Golden only because the lake bends like a river away from the community that is built along Highway 86. This area is a beautiful area for the buyers that love the quiet more tranquil type of living.
Table Rock Lake looks more like a river here in Eagle Rock and Golden, because it actually is the White River which is flowing from the Southwest in Arkansas and winds through Southern Missouri before re-entering Arkansas on its way to the Mississippi River.
The White River is the actual flow for the Chain of Lakes through, Beaver, Table Rock, Taneycomo, Bull Shoals and North Fork with a series of dams and power plants along the way. Built to control flooding and produce electricity but has become a great source for all types of living and recreation.
