Hollister Lake Homes
Hollister is a great area to purchase a property for buyers that want to be close to Branson, the Airport, two colleges, both Table Rock Lake and Lake Taneycomo as well as a selection of restaurants, shopping and near two hospitals. Hollister has many well established developments for residential and condos along both lakes. The Branson Airport is located just south of Hollister in a large development called Branson Creek. It is convenient with nice houses and Townhomes and two nice 18 hole golf courses.
Hollister has both Table Rock Lake and Lake Taneycomo. But there are major differences between these two lakes. Table Rock Lake is a warm lake, great for recreation and playing in the warm bath like summer waters. Table Rock has great fishing and pleasure boating and there are many properties, residential, townhomes, and condos along the shores with access to boat slips nearby.
Lake Taneycomo starts from the Table Rock Lake Dam. It draws from the bottom of Table Rock Lake which is one of the main differences between the two lakes. Lake Taneycomo is a cold water lake which is great for trout fishing, and canoeing but not popular for waterskiing.
