The Lampe area is really just a lake community that has a post office. It is between Kimberling City and Blue Eye and also runs along Highway 86 West toward Shell Knob. It has some rural parts that are very rustic and tranquil. There are all types of residential properties scattered along the lake that are accessed from the Lampe addresses.
The Lampe part of Table Rock Lake is on the Big Indian Arm of the lake as well as the Cow Creek Arm and is a favorite spot for fishermen catching the lunker bass as well as the very tasteful crappie fish. There is a Marina located in the Lampe area.
One of the best parts of the Lampe area is the convenience of Dogwood Canyon. A wonderful attraction owned and developed by Johnny Morris of Bass Pro Shops. With over 10,000 acres of a nature lover's paradise, it has crystal-clear trout streams, waterfalls, hiking trails, bicycle trails, horseback adventures, Segway rentals, as well as tram rides to see longhorn cattle, buffalo and elk in the higher meadowlands that stretch into Arkansas. The park has a wonderful restaurant which is also a draw for the area and people drive from all around to come and enjoy. And all of this is in the Lampe area.
The residential homes in the Lampe area usually have nice large acreage type lots with them and space with plenty of trees between neighbors. There are properties with both community docks and private docks either just below the houses or very nearby. There are properties that can run cattle and horses, there are lake view houses that have both distant lake views as well as very near lake views and there are lake front properties that are always the favorite when moving to the lake.
Don’t overlook lake front Lampe for sale property listings, because there is a lot to offer in this area that is only about a 30 minute drive to Branson or about 45 minutes to Springfield.
